April has brought some wonderful sunny days and some really chilly ones, but it has been fairly dry, which is always good news ?.
After the disaster which was our plasterer injuring his shoulder, we managed to get a highly recommended plastering team to finish off the works. This meant painting could begin.
Tiling was taking shape in the bathrooms and what a lovely job our tiler did as we had tricky tiles to work with…
The thorn in my side, which was the final drain run, was finally put to bed and duly passed by building control. The lads from Mead did a fantastic job considering how shallow the fall was and all the other services which they had to work around. We now have flushing toilets!
Another great milestone was reached…the kitchen! After having been bombarded with the components and having to go through some of them, to make sure they were in good condition, it was great to see it being put together.
What a difference it makes to the space…
