So, we are still waiting for highways to get back to us about the flooding situation. They’ve said it can take up to 3 months which is quite some time to wait. Going to see if we can get the roof insulation done in the meantime.
Base coat of render has been applied, but the final coat has been delayed as the machine used by the contractor broke down and needed repairing!
In the meantime, the short trench to bring the gas up to where the meter box will be fitted can be dug…or so we thought! Who put that wall and slab of concrete underground ?.
Anyway, mustn’t let these things get in our way – in with the jack hammer!
