We are still waiting to hear from highways regarding the monsoon which occurred a few weeks back, so unfortunately, we have not been able to make any progress within the house ☹️.
We have been able to continue with exterior work though so the cladding has been completed and the scaffolding is finally down. Certainly looks more like a house now…
We also had the wonderful Mead Construction carry out the works to connect us to the mains drains, which has now been completed. Had to dig 5ft down so that’s a lot of back-filling to do! Not too bad a week all in all.
