Second attempt to dig our last channel for the drainage to connect in the road. Again it has to be abandoned but this time due to snow. I’m beginning to think that we will never get this last run of drainage in!!!
That’s going to be it for this year as the contractor is unable to do anything until January now. Let’s hope for a mild one.
At least the downstairs is boarded. Not being plastered until January though so things will be quiet on site for a few weeks.
We’ll try and take this time to sort out the landscaping ideas around the house and making sure Part M (disability access) is dealt with. In the meantime, we wish everyone a peaceful Christmas and let’s hope things improve for 2021…
