We’ve had a few ups and downs. Weather has not been on our side either ?. Highways would not accept liability for the flood earlier in the year, which was rather disappointing but not altogether surprising. We’ve come up with a solution for the drainage of water on the access road which is a relief.
But, we’ve had a busy few weeks and have made the most of the recent good weather spell by painting the garages.
A vast improvement, you will agree…
All the insulation upstairs has been installed, including the extra 50mm flexible insulation and vapour control layer placed over the top. This is a seriously well insulated house which we hope the future owners will enjoy. Coupled with the slow release of the under floor heating, the house should be nice and toasty over the winter months…
The shower base has been installed, ready for the boards and plastering to begin. A good hour was spent by my 2 burly assistants, just carrying them into the house!
Can’t wait until the boards are up and the plaster is on – it will really look like a house then ?.
